This fine family guest-house bed and breakfast accommodation is located at at Saint Dyé, a charming village 4kms from the Chateau de Chambord, on the edge of the Loire, between Orleans and Blois, within easy reach of the A10 autoroute and surrounded by chateaux, famous gardens and historical, picturesque towns. Your trilingual hosts (French, English and German) will be happy to share with you their knowledge of the local history and to assist you in discovering its cultural and gastronomic wealth.
The house is surrounded by a romantic garden which is a mixture of the French geometric and English informal. The breakfast is served in the garden during the warm season and the house is decorated with an obvious passion for the past down to the smallest details. Books, pictures and sculptures illustrate la Fontaine's fables. Guests have use of the beautifully furnished salon and dining rooms.
Note that the cot is provided free of charge provided you supply your own cot linen

We were made very welcome at the bed and breakfast in the Loire Valley (ref 234.) They generously suggested, when we phoned to report likely arrival time, that, if we were planning a sandwich en route, we would do much better to bring it and eat it in their garden, which we did. They, of course, insisted on providing glasses, ice, etc. for our drinks... and were altogether delightful. - The Robbins, 2005
Francis and Bernadette could not do enough to make us feel welcome and help us with local information to enjoy our holiday. Francis is fluent in english and was very friendly. The house was lovely and the family room had lots of space and was comfortable.
