It is close to the medieval market town of Loches, 39 miles south of Tours and the magnificent chateaux of the Loire Valley and the Brenne Regional Park on your doorstep.

A warm welcome awaits you from your bi-lingual hosts (English and French). The guest rooms are contained in a building which is totally separate to the owner's house and overlooks the garden and surrounding peaceful countryside. There are 3 well-appointed and attractively decorated bedrooms with seating area and each room has its own bathroom (either en-suite or private). The guest quarters have a spacious beamed lounge area, equipped with DVD, video player, stereo system and large wood-burning stove and a breakfast area with tea and coffee always available. Guests also have use of the gardens and the heated swimming pool. There is ample room for parking in the grounds.

The village of Cléré-du-Bois has a bar, restaurant and outside terrace just a few minutes walk away. The restaurant serves excellent value, traditional French cuisine, pizza and pasta dishes and a takeaway pizza service. There are many fine restaurants locally and the area has much to offer. Smoking is not permitted in the house and no pets allowed. The accommodation has free WiFi internet access.
