This is charming British-owned bed and breakfast accommodation situated at the eastern end of the Loire Valley, close to the vineyards of Sancerre, Pouilly sur Loire and Menetou Salon with the Burgundy and Berry regions and the Magny Cours motor-racing circuit on the doorstep. 20 minutes West of Nevers and 30 minutes East of Bourges, this is an ideal ski stopover, just 15 minutes from junction 28 of the A77.
The accommodation is a traditional French longère set in over 4 acres of grounds, in a hamlet close to the main attractions of the area. Close by are vineyards making some of the best wines of the Loire Valley. Bike hire is available at this address and there are several golf courses in the area and fishing is possible either in the Loire river, the canal or in local lakes – your hosts would be happy to arrange the necessary permits on your behalf.
Guests have use of a fridge and a quiet sitting and library area on the first floor. A TV which takes video tapes is available on request, as are hairdryers and toiletries. There is also an outside terrace area where you are welcome to sit and relax in warmer months. All bedrooms have central heating for the cooler seasons, spare pillows and extra covers should you need them.
There are cats, dogs and chickens on site, but your good natured and well-disciplined dog may be welcome by prior arrangement.
