This charming bed and breakfast accommodation is on the edge of the old village of Pressigny with its forests, its medieval castle, its church (showing a choir from the XIIIth Century) and its fountains from the XVIIIth Century. The accommodation, 30kms SE of Langres, exit 7 of the A31 autoroute, is in a handsome 18th & 19th century manor house. It is a charming home with romantic décor and is surrounded by countryside.
On the ground floor is a large library with books and information about the region. There is a large garage for parking. In warmer months, feel free to wander in the large garden with flowers enclosed by old walls. There is garden furniture and on fine days you can have a drink with your friends and dinner is served outside.
The 5 bedrooms are on the first and second floor and are named after members of the family. Each has a private safe and a bathroom with shower and hair-drier. They are individually decorated and very comfortably furnished. All the rooms look out over the gardens and countryside. The rooms are no-smoking and pets are not accepted.
In the area there are lots of lovely places to walk or cycle through the forests or on quiet country lanes - bikes are available at the accommodation. In the village there is a covered tennis court and an outdoor swimming-pool which is open in July and August.
For parents of young children, a high chair and baby bath are available along with a microwave for heating bottles and baby food.

We have just returned from holiday and wanted to give you some feedback regarding our stay at the b&b in Presigny in the Champagne region. The location was delightfull and tranquil and the hospitality was superb. Of all the places we stayed, there was no doubt that the evening meal provided by Madame Poope was by far the best, it was worth the fee alone. We stayed in the suite at this bed and breakfast accommodation in the Champagne region in august 2006 as a stopover on our way to the jura region. The hospitality of our hosts was wonderful. After showing us to our room, she also showed us through to the lovely gardens where we enjoyed a lovely bottle of chardonnay (for only 5Euros a bottle!!) on the lawn. The three course evening meal was absolutely delicious and included free red wine, water and coffee. We stayed in the suite which accommodated 4 adults, 1 child and 2 babies in the two double adjoining rooms with ease! This was a lovely start to a camping holiday and after only staying in campanile hotels before, was an absolute treat! I thought you would like some feedback about our stay booked through Stopover Connections. We had a lovely time at the b&b accommodation in the Champagne region. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the food was great. As well as breakfast we also had evening meals and they were delicious and very reasonably priced, it was nice to share the table with the other guests and get to know them. We stayed overnight at this bed and breakfast accommodation and had a very enjoyable stay. We were made to feel very welcome. The rooms were lovely, beautifully decorated and furnished, bathrooms spotlessly clean. We had a wonderful evening meal, shared with the other guests, a very sociable evening. Madame made us very welcome and although our grasp of the French language was not as good as the English of the other guests we enjoyed dinner very much and were included in the conversation at the dinner table whenever possible. We had two evening meals which were amazing and very good value for money. They helped us with jump leads when our car had a flat battery, provided a changing mat and baby bath without us asking .
