The property is a Picardy 'fermette' in the Pas de Calais offering self-catering accommodation for up to 8 people in a small village with a bar, just 2 miles from the centre of Doullens where there are five supermarkets, post office and banks. Every Thursday morning in Doullens there is an open air local market for fresh veg, fish etc. Arras & Amiens are both less than half hours drive. This is an ideal base for visiting many of the WW1 sites and museums around this area.

The gite
The cottage has 4 double bedrooms, a family bathroom with original ball & claw roll topped bath, separate walk in shower / wet room and a second WC with washing machine. There is a fully fitted dining kitchen with oven, hob, 2 fridge freezers, microwave oven and twin electric ovens. In the living room there is a log burning stove, TV, dvd player, video player & music centre.
The property has full central heating throughout and there is a private courtyard with lawn to the rear. Bed linen is included as well as towels. Logs for the woodburner are available on request.
